The banner system in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (7DSO) is how you get new Heroes for your team. The game has a few different banner types, and each one works a bit differently. Understanding how they work will help you spend your tickets wisely and get the characters you want without wasting your resources. The Call of the Stars Banner (Beginner)
This is your starter banner and the best free deal you'll get early on. When you first log into the game, Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will automatically make you do a 10-pull on this banner. After those 10 pulls, the banner disappears for good and won't come back.
The big reward here is a guaranteed SR Hero Slater, along with a few random drops to help you hit the ground running. It's not the most exciting banner, but it's completely free and gives you a great push at the start.
Meliodas Pick Up Limited Hero Banner (Limited)
The Meliodas Pick Up banner, called Timelines Collide – Grand Cross, is available to every new player from the moment they first log in. It stays open for 21 days after your first login, so it's on a personal timer rather than a fixed date. Once those 21 days are up, this banner is gone permanently.
In this banner, featured SSR heroes are also available. The system has two pity checkpoints:
- At 80 pulls, you're guaranteed an SSR Hero with a 50/50 chance of it being the rate-up character. If you don't get the featured character, the next SSR from the banner is guaranteed to be them.
- On top of that, 120 pulls guarantees the rate-up character outright, no matter what.
This banner uses Hero Pick Up Draw Tickets, which are different from regular tickets, so make sure you're using the right ones.

This banner has a total of 10 unique rewards. Each pull gives you a different reward, and there are no duplicates. The rates for unclaimed rewards increase as you pull more, so the more you draw, the better your chances of landing the rarer items.

New Encounters Banner (Permanent)
This is your regular permanent banner that's always available. You'll use Regular Hero Draw Tickets to pull from it, which you can earn from events, missions, and other in-game activities.
Every 80 pulls guarantees an SSR Hero, and once you hit that guarantee, the counter resets so you can keep earning guaranteed SSR Heroes over time.
