The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Reroll Guide – How to Reroll and Who to Get

Rerolling in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is possible, but it's not as simple as most gacha games. The process requires some workarounds since the game doesn't have a straightforward account deletion feature. If you're wondering whether you should reroll, which characters to aim for, and how to actually do it, this guide covers everything you need to know.

How to Reroll in 7DSO

Rerolling in 7DS: Origin requires a specific process because there's no quick account reset button. Here's the complete step-by-step guide:

Complete the Tutorial (10-15 Minutes)

First, you need to play through the tutorial. This takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending on how fast you skip through cutscenes and dialogue.

Unlock Your First Banner

After finishing the tutorial, you'll reach a statue area. This is when the gacha system unlocks and you can start pulling.

The very first banner that appears is called "The Call of the Stars" and it's a rigged tutorial banner. You'll do a 10-pull that always gives you SR Slater and some weapons. There's no way to get lucky here - every single player gets the exact same results from this banner.

Don't waste time rerolling on this banner. It's completely fixed.

Claim Your Free Summons

Once the tutorial banner is done, you can start collecting your actual reroll resources. Here's what to do:

Go to your mailbox (top right menu) and claim:

  • 10 Regular Hero Draw Tickets
  • Various other rewards

Enter the promo code by going to Settings → Redeem Code and entering: welcomeorigin

  • This gives you 5 more Regular Hero Draw Tickets
  • Total standard pulls: 15

Check the event tab to claim:

  • 1 Hero Pick Up Draw Ticket (for the limited Meliodas banner)
  • Any other login rewards

Optional: Collect extra gems

  • You can explore a bit to find chests that give premium currency
  • Complete hero trial tutorials for 100 gems each (there are 3 different trials)
  • If you collect 600 gems total, that's enough for 2 more limited banner pulls

Most rerollers skip the extra gem farming and just work with the 15 standard pulls and 1 limited pull. Getting those extra limited pulls takes significantly more time.

Do Your Pulls

Now it's time to summon:

  1. Use your 15 Regular Hero Draw Tickets on the New Encounters banner (standard banner)
  2. Check if you got an SSR you're happy with
  3. Use your Hero Pick Up Draw Ticket on the Meliodas banner (if you want to try for limited characters)

If you didn't get what you wanted, it's time to reset your account.

How to Reroll in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

This is where things get tricky. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin doesn't have a quick account deletion option. If you use the "Delete Account" button in settings, it puts your account on a 30-day waiting period before deletion. That's completely useless for rerolling.

Instead, here's the workaround:

  • Step 1: Open Settings and click on "Link Account"
  • Step 2: Click the blue button that says "Manage Linked Accounts" - this opens a web page
  • Step 3: On the web page, link a Google/Gmail account to your game account
  • Step 4: After linking Gmail, unlink your Steam account from the same page
  • Step 5: Close the game completely and restart it
  • Step 6: When you launch the game again, you'll start fresh with a new account

Your old account is now tied to that Gmail address instead of Steam. Your Steam account is free to create a new game account. You can repeat this process as many times as you have Gmail addresses.

  • For PlayStation Players: If you're playing on PS5, you need different PSN accounts to reroll. There's no way around this. Each PSN account is treated as a separate game account.
  • Wait for Mobile Release: When the mobile version launches, rerolling should be easier since mobile games typically have proper account deletion features due to app store requirements.

What Characters Are Worth Rerolling For

Now let's talk about which characters you should actually aim for when rerolling.

Don't Reroll for Meliodas

Even though Meliodas is the featured limited character and very powerful, we strongly recommend you do NOT try to reroll for him. Here's why:

  • You only get 1 Hero Pick Up Draw Ticket from the initial rewards
  • The SSR rate on his banner is 0.8%
  • You'd need to reroll an average of 250 times to get him
  • Even if you farm extra gems for more pulls, you're only getting 2-3 total limited pulls maximum

It's just not realistic. You'll burn yourself out trying. The good news is that Meliodas has a beginner banner that stays available for 21 days after you start playing, and you're guaranteed to get him within 120 pulls by playing normally.

Focus on the Standard Banner Instead

Your 15 Regular Hero Draw Tickets are what you should focus on. The standard banner has an 8% SSR rate, which is much better odds than the 0.8% on the limited banner.

Here are the characters worth rerolling for:

Top Priority - Best Reroll Targets

Jericho
Diane
Meliodas

High Priority - Great Reroll Targets

Elaine
King
Manny

Is It Recommended to Reroll?

The answer depends on how much time you're willing to invest and what your goals are.

  • For most players, we'd say rerolling is optional but not necessary and we do not recommend it

If you have the patience and want the best possible start, go ahead and reroll until you get Jericho, Dianne, or Elaine. These three characters will genuinely improve your experience.
